 The semi-conductor industry has developed spectacularly in the technological sense in past years.
Thermo Electric has been able to contribute to this by keeping pace with these developments in the area of temperature measurement systems in diffusion and oxidation processes.
For example, intelligent solutions have been developed for Wafer steppers in the form of Profiling sensors and Spikes that make extremely compact, multiple applications possible. Thermo Electric also makes use of a number of features that increase the guarantee of quality, durability and contamination prevention. Single ceramic insulation sleeves with ten channels, lightweight handles in aluminum or anodized, simple assembly features and positive and negative t/c wires over the whole length (no common return) guarantee:
- a stronger construction with less chance of breakage
- improved positioning of the measurement points, that makes more accurate Delta T measurements possible
- simpler decontamination procedures
Manufacture is carried out in our cleanroom where exactly the same circumstances exist as for the manufacture of Wafer steppers. Batch calibration is one of the standard procedures; if required with an NKO approved calibration certificate from Thermo Electric’s own accredited laboratory. Our customers are both manufacturers and end users.
