Meet Arno van der Veer. Driving solutions, one customer at a time.
Arno van der Veer has been part of Thermo Electric since 2002, bringing over two decades of experience, consistency, and customer focus to his role as Sales Engineer.
At the heart of Arno’s motivation is building long-term relationships with customers and making sure they get the quality and clarity they expect.

In his day-to-day work, Arno handles everything from incoming sales requests and order processing to delivery timelines and internal coordination. He’s often the first point of contact in the sales process and takes pride in setting things up clearly and efficiently so that colleagues down the line can continue with confidence.
Strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure are key to Arno’s success. Whether it’s quickly shifting priorities or resolving unexpected challenges, Arno thrives when the pace picks up.
Outside of work, Arno has a lifelong love of sports and cars, a passion that runs in the family. “My dad was a mechanic, so I’ve always been around cars and engines.” These days, you’ll find Arno on the road bike, exploring new routes with his wife, or following his favourite teams on TV.
Arno’s personal motto is simple and consistent with the way he works: “𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙪𝙥.”
His advice to others in the industry? Take your time, listen first, and respond with purpose.
